November 2024
Chris Erickson & Danielle Martindale
On October 10th I lost my boyfriend of 15 years. That day I messaged them and said I was taking a week off. They both were suddenly filling in for me and were very supportive and there for me. I appreciate their kindness and concern more than they will ever know.
-Tina Martinez
Shana Sizemore
Shana did a great job with helping Room 126 get back on its feet. She was reliable and always asked for more things to do! Thank you so much! It was so helpful!
-Sarah Cox
Amanda Sheppard
Amanda has taken charge of breakfast at Rogers. She has been an invaluable asset to our team!

Chris Erickson, Tiffany Fletcher, Meredith Bishop, Madison Stear, Laura Smith, Johnica Tucker
I think the question should be, 'What haven't they done?' Chris is the epitome of how coordinated and supported efforts among teachers, working together to achieve greatness for their students and themselves, benefit everyone. From inception, many, MANY emails, text messages, and conversations about the future of education and what it looks like for new teachers was shaped, molded, and honed into a semester of authentic, real-world, experiential learning opportunities across six open-armed, welcoming, and compassionate volunteering teachers and their classrooms. Chris Erickson, Tiffany Fletcher, Meredith Bishop, Johnica Tucker, Laura Smith, and Madison Stear all deserve a paid vacation to the Bahamas!! I'm sure, however, being the committed and caring teachers that they all are, they'll be overjoyed to know that their time of going above and beyond made an everlasting impact on how a class of future teachers here at Bradley University view the education of students with moderate to severe disabilities. Interactions with these teachers began with an idea and, well, there is no ending! Being a part of collaborative adventures that create change has no boundaries. The words, "Thank you!" however small in comparison to what these Superstars did for nine future teachers here at Bradley, is said with admiration, gratitude, and inspiration. "Thank you!" for your contributions in creating authentic classroom experiences for future teacher-training.
-Dr. Deitra Kuester, Associate Professor, Bradley University
