Autism Assistance Team: comprised of a group of highly trained individuals from a variety of disciplines who observe the student and provide recommendations as well as examples of visual supports, social stories, and other social supports and ongoing ideas for accommodations and modifications.

​TMCSEA provides a wide array of services to districts, students, and families to assist in building effective educational support for children with autism spectrum disorders. These services include autism assistance, staff development, lending library, autism evaluations, and a variety of resources for both school and home at no cost for our member districts.

Staff Development Training provides basic overview of characteristics of autism spectrum disorders and how to better assist those students in the classroom and school environment. Trainings can be modified to meet a district's specific needs.

The Autism Lending Library is located at Schramm Educational Center, 300 Cedar Street, Pekin, IL 61554. There are over 100 books, DVDs, and other materials that can be checked out to provide supplemental information to parents, teachers, and support staff.
