Audiological Services

Kari Behrends, Program Coordinator
kbehrends@tmcsea.org

TMCSEA provides an audiological clinic twice a month with Joanna Capobianco, Au.D.,CCC-A. She will also be working closely with our DHH Itinerant teachers on hearing equipment and management. Member district students may be referred for audiological evaluations by the speech/language pathologist, teacher, parent, or other appropriate staff. Additionally, students with a history of hearing difficulties are routinely monitored to ensure that hearing loss does not interfere with speech and language development or academic performance. Audiological re-evaluations are tracked, scheduled, and conducted on site as well.
