The nursing staff is an integral part of the educational team providing specialized medical support for our member districts. District consultation and medical reviews are available through the request for service process. 

The nursing team has established individualized care plans to meet the students needs at Schramm Educational Center.  Nursing services are available to help students maintain an optimal state of  health, while at school, in order to enhance his/her education. The nurse also oversees student health records.
Student based services are provided through physician orders and may include: Medication administration, nutrition & hydration per gastrostomy button/tube, respiratory treatments, chest vest airway clearance treatments, blood sugar monitoring per glucometer, insulin administration, catheterization, care of colostomies, administration of emergency medications as indicated, oxygen therapy, suctioning as well as various medical  needs and conditions of students.
