​ Schramm Educational Center is a multi-faceted facility committed to providing high quality services to students ages 3-21 with significant disabilities.  Placement at Schramm is through the IEP team at the local district. Our students receive individualized instruction through a modified curriculum, which is provided in Learning Centers. Vocational opportunities, Community Based Instruction/Recreation and Warm Water Pool experiences enhance students' educational programming as well.  Related services are provided to students as specified by their IEP.

​Changes to Title IX Affecting Schools 
Responding to Discrimination on the Basis of Sex in K-12 School Systems
Notice: Students with disabilities who do not qualify for an individualized education program may qualify for services under Section 504 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 if the child (i) has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, (ii) has a record of a physical or mental impairment, or (iii) is regarded as having a physical or mental impairment. Inquiries should be directed to the TMCSEA  Administrative Office at 309/347-5164 regarding the identification, assessment, and placement of such children. A parent who is deaf or does not typically communicate using spoken English and who participates in a Section 504 meeting with a representative of a local educational agency shall be entitled to the services of an interpreter.

Schramm Educational Center invites suggestions and comments concerning the development, implementation, and improvement of the school wellness policy from parents, students, representatives of the school food authority, teachers of physical education, school health professionals, the Executive Committee, school administrators, and community. To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/USDA-OASCR%20P-Complaint-Form-0508-0002-508-11-28-17Fax2Mail.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
